LOSE YOURSELF IN ART NIGHT AT INNSIDE BY MELIÁ AMSTERDAM: A CASUAL AND CREATIVE EVENING

On September 5th, we attended Lose Yourself in Art Night at INNSiDE by Meliá Amsterdam, a relaxed and engaging event leading up to the Affordable Art Fair. The evening had a cool, friendly vibe, where everyone felt welcome to dive into creative activities without any pressure.

The panel discussion on losing and finding yourself through art, moderated by Blythe Bolton, included artists like Rep RingelSaba Askary, and Jolien Verhaegen. Their conversation flowed naturally, offering insight without being too formal, which fit perfectly with the overall atmosphere of the event.

A standout for us was the Printmaking Workshop with Sara Plantefève-Castryck. It was an easy-going, hands-on activity that sparked creativity in a fun way. Meanwhile, live painting by Jasper van den Ham and Leyla Khorshiddoost kept things dynamic, adding a cool visual element throughout the evening.

What really made the night for us was staying at the hotel afterward. We got to relax in our room and take in the incredible panoramic view of Amsterdam from the higher floors. It was the perfect way to end the evening— calm, scenic, and a bit magical, with the city lights stretching out below.
