For the second year in a row, the underground phenomenon took over New York City. Highly anticipated and emerging artists alike displayed their undeniable talents for the city's eager audience.

Amidst the sweltering New York heatwave, Boiler Room made its debut in the city's nightlife scene. Music lovers eagerly awaited the release of this year's line up, surely amassing a slew of talented sets. Taking over Avant Gardener, the event embraced the expansive, multi-staged venue designed to accommodate the increasing crowds. On July 13th and 14th, Boiler Room descended upon the city, inviting both past and present attendees to immerse themselves in the distinctive Boiler Room experience.

Over the two-day immersive musical journey, Numero Netherlands joined in on the elevated excitement, delving into the diverse sounds Boiler Room seeks to explore. On July 13th and 14th, the intense summer heat set the scene, with attendees donning a mix of casual attire including mini shorts, skirts, sheer tanks, bikini tops, and plenty of green. Three stages offered attendees the chance to explore different rooms, each showcasing a unique blend of sounds and energies. Amid the swirl of dancing bodies, dazzling lights, and high-energy music, it was evident that a bit of London had arrived in New York for the weekend.

The multi-staged venue glowed with unparalleled vibrancy, as Avant Gardener, famed for its vast space and thrilling events, came alive in a way that only Boiler Room could deliver. The main stage, dubbed the Mirage Stage, welcomed visitors to a sprawling outdoor area illuminated by concert-grade strobe lights, giant plasma screens, and powerful bass reverberating from all directions. Among the standout performances that elevated the stage were coveted artists such as Zack Fox, Rico Nasty, Yaeji, Nooriyah, The Punjabi Hit Club, and Aliyah’s Interlude. The stage buzzed with an electrifying blend of pop, techno, house, and Swana music, driving the crowd to dance through a sea of flashing lights. Navigating through the crowd, we arrived at The Great Hall, situated just outside the main stage. There, we were greeted by the cool breeze of the dark, warehouse-like space illuminated by intense red lights. Artists such as MRD, MCR-T, OG Marlyn Monrollup, Giggs, and Ayesha brought an eclectic mix of techno, jungle, rap, house, and UK+leftfield bass to the stage. The dense smoke filled the room as attendees flocked to the DJ booth, which was positioned at the center of the space. As we moved through Avant Gardener, we arrived at the final room of the night: Kings Hall. Living up to its name, Kings Hall felt like a steamy underground chamber, with strobe lights and fog enveloping every corner. Attendees poured out of the room, queuing up in anticipation of the next set. Eli Escobar, Kilopatrah Jones, and Zeemuffin were among the talented artists delivering sets that spanned EDM, house, techno, jungle, baile-funk, and Afro Beats. A weekend packed with unforgettable music and electrifying energy.

True to its name, Boiler Room delivered a weekend to remember with vibrant crowds, euphoric atmospheres, and exhilarating, unique sounds, leaving us wishing the party would never end. The World Tour will continue to conquer various cities, giving more attendees the chance to experience Boiler Room firsthand. We eagerly anticipate Boiler Room’s next city takeover and look forward to its return.
