GUCCI LAUNCHES NEW TENNIS COLLECTION
After a preview in selected stores in Paris, Gucci finally releases its newest Gucci Tennis collection. Reimagining some of its classic designs from the 1970’s, creative director Sabato de Sarno honored the House’s longstanding relationship with this sport with a special selection of tennis item sporting the Gucci colours. The emblematic designs adorned with a contemporary aesthetic are surfing on the tennis core trend brought by the movie Challengers, and adapt perfectly to the court or the city.
The collection features sleek dresses, sophisticated polos, matching sets for men and women as well as a wide choice of accessories including caps, wristbands, a new duffle bag and a racquet bag. Two pairs of sneakers compose the collection, the the iconic Tennis 1977 sneakers appearing in white canvas and leather alongside the Gucci Ace sneakers featuring the GG monogram. Varied and elegant, this collection will please tennis addict looking for a new attire as much as fashion collectors eager to add an emblematic piece to their collection.
