LOUIS VUITTON UNPACKS ACCESSORIES OF THE FALL/WINTER 2024 COLLECTION
After ten years leading the women collection of one of the most prestigious fashion house in the world, Nicolas Ghesquière took some time to stop and reflect. The Fall/Winter 2024 collection bears witness to a decade of collaboration between the creative director and Louis Vuitton, an intense journey paved of iconic fashion statements and unforgettable moment that will mark the House’s history forever. This long experience as the creative force of Louis Vuitton comes to an apotheosis with this collection, what is familiar is renewed, and we feel more at home than ever with the Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
The runway show of the collection took place in the Cour Carré at the Louvre, an emblematic venue for Louis Vuitton and dear to Ghesquière’s heart, as it is where he presented his first collection for the House, exactly ten years ago. Nostalgia is strong, and the designer definitely digs into this extensive history to build the future. The items presented sport the iconic LV monogram, but novelty is brought through the metallic pieces implemented to bags, a cat ears beanie that will make waves in the Gen Z fashion community. Every piece is unapologetically Vuitton and Ghesquière at the same time, no compromise has been made on the unique composition of the bags, shoes, belts and other goods presented in the Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
