You made your theater debut with ‘El Jefe del Jefe’ alongside Fernando Gil. What has the experience been like working with such an accomplished director like Ricardo Hornos, and how did you prepare for this new challenge?
Working with a director who knows exactly what they want is a real pleasure, and that's Ricardo Hornos. Honestly, preparing for a character becomes much easier and more enjoyable when they support you throughout the process and understand where you can excel the most. I would call him an involved director.
Transitioning from TV to stage must be exciting yet challenging. What were some of the biggest differences you’ve noticed in terms of performance and preparation?
I encountered a completely different experience as an actress. In theater, you have the opportunity to deliver a line in many different ways if you're not satisfied with how you said it, which happens quite often to actors. However, I realized the endless possibilities of delivering the same text differently, yet still conveying the same meaning. I loved it, and I enjoyed playing it in new ways every night. It was a great opportunity.

Coming from an artistic family with your mother being part of the Golden Triplets, how did this environment shape your career and your passion for acting?
I was born and raised in front of cameras. As a child, I loved skipping school to go to set where my mother was filming. I remember the smell of palo santo in the dressing rooms, the lights on set, and the audience in the stands. It all felt like a dream to me. I’ve always known this was the path I was meant to take.
Out of all the roles you’ve played, which one holds the most significance for you and why?
Every character I’ve portrayed has had a significant impact on me. Throughout different stages of my life, I've had the opportunity to bring various characters to life, and what I love most is adapting them and adding my own personal touch. I always learn something new from each one of them. However, I believe the character that will truly resonate with me the most is still yet to come.
You’ve had a great range of roles across popular TV shows like ‘Millennials’. How do you approach selecting your roles, and what do you look for in a character?
One thing I truly enjoy is constantly researching and practicing. I’m always taking acting classes and engaging in actor training because, as time goes on, we grow and evolve, changing the way we approach and understand things. I believe that as an actor, it's crucial to keep learning and challenging yourself. What I strive for the most is ensuring that every character I portray carries a part of me. I try to act with my true essence, drawing on my own experiences and emotions to make each role feel authentic and personal. This ongoing process of self-discovery and growth allows me to bring more depth and nuance to the characters I play.

What are you most excited about in your career moving forward? Are there any new genres or roles you’re particularly interested in exploring?
I’m currently very focused on my own projects, and I also write. During the pandemic, I took a screenwriting course, and I was fascinated by how quickly I was able to find my rhythm with it. Writing has become a constant part of my life, I do it all the time. I have many ongoing ideas and projects that I’m passionate about, and this year, I’m finally taking the step to bring them to light. I’ve learned so much from the process of creating stories and developing characters, and I’m excited to share my work with others. Writing has become a powerful tool for me to express my thoughts and creativity in new ways, and I’m eager to see where this journey takes me. It’s a challenge, but also a source of immense fulfillment, and I’m looking forward to seeing my own projects come to life.

As an Argentinian actress working internationally, how do you think the Argentine entertainment industry compares with the global scene, and what do you think is next for Latin American talent in international projects?
As I believe it is in every country, being a foreigner is not easy. At first, it’s very exciting because everything feels new, but as you begin to understand the industry, you realize that things aren’t as simple as they seem. You miss your family, being far away from your friends, and while we may speak the same language, the cultures are different, and even body language varies. I’ve been living in Spain for five years, and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster full of hard work, periods of little work, moments of longing, and at times wanting to return to Argentina, only to decide to extend my stay here.
The differences with Argentina are not that noticeable, only the fact that there’s more work here, more projects, and a greater number of international production companies investing in Spain. It’s an industry that offers more opportunities, but with that comes its own challenges. I’ve learned so much in these five years, about myself, my craft, and the ways in which I can adapt to new situations. It’s been a journey of growth, with moments of doubt, but also moments of great fulfillment and discovery. The path is never linear, but it’s all part of the experience.

You currently reside in Madrid. What drew you to the city, and how has living there influenced your career and artistic perspective?
I was fortunate enough that just two months after arriving in Madrid, I already had work in a series. That stroke of good luck stayed with me for quite some time, and what initially started as a one-year experience to test my career abroad has now become my life. What I thought would be a temporary adventure has turned into a long-term commitment to my growth as an artist and professional in Europe. Over time, I’ve realized how much this journey has shaped me, both personally and professionally. The opportunities I've had here have not only helped me develop my craft, but they’ve also allowed me to connect with incredible people and discover different facets of the industry. Now, instead of just being a test, this path feels like a new chapter I’m deeply invested in, one where I continue to take risks and believe in my potential in Europe. I see myself here for the long haul, pushing forward and embracing everything this vibrant continent has to offer.
Looking ahead, are there any particular roles or projects you’re hoping to tackle in the future? Are there any genres or character types that you haven’t explored yet but would love to?
It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a comedy. I love comedy, I find it so much easier, and I’ve never really delved into romantic comedy before. However, I’ve recently started writing a romantic comedy project that I’m really excited about, and I hope to bring it to life and share it with others very soon. Writing this has been such an enjoyable and refreshing experience, as it allows me to explore a lighter, more humorous side of storytelling, something I haven’t had the chance to do in a while. I’m finding it to be a great creative outlet, and I’m excited to see how it develops. This project feels special to me because it’s an opportunity to step into a new genre, something that’s both challenging and fun. I can’t wait to share it with the world, and hopefully, it will resonate with people in the same way it’s resonating with me as I write it.
