Valentina Ferrer is an entrepreneur, television personality and world-renowned model. As a passionate wellness advocate, Valentina is the co-founder and CEO of KAPOWDER, a line of supplements containing ethically sourced ingredients that are vegan and cruelty-free-, gluten-free, and GMO-free. They help boost energy, enhance skin collagen, and improve gut and skin health and overall well-being.
Valentina, you were crowned Miss Argentina in 2014. How did you get into the beauty pageant world and how do you look back on this part of your career?
Miss Universe helped me in various aspects of my life, allowing me to learn about different cultures and more about myself. This experience prepared me not to see it as a competition with other women, but as a personal challenge for growth and stepping out of my comfort zone.

What did representing your country at the 2014 Miss Universe and placing in the top 10 mean to you?
For my country, it marked the beginning of giving importance to such a globally recognized event. It was a significant achievement, and personally, I was very proud to be part of that journey.
After that, you have developed a successful career as a model. What do you love the most about fashion and what does fashion represent to you?
What I love most about fashion is its ability to express personality and creativity through clothing. Fashion is ultimately an art form, and self-expression through it is a beautiful thing.
Which is your favorite current fashion trend and why?
I'm obsessed with micro miniskirts. I love how they elongate your silhouette and can be dressed up or down.
Can you tell us more about your favorite moment in your modeling career, and what makes it so special?
One of my favorite moments in my modeling career was shooting for Vogue while I was pregnant. Becoming a mom has always been a dream of mine and this shoot was incredibly special as it beautifully intertwined my career with that personal milestone.
Having walked at Fashion Weeks in many of the world’s fashion capitals, which do you usually enjoy the most and why?
I genuinely enjoy all of them. The adrenaline rush before stepping onto the runway is like no other. Each Fashion Week holds a special place in my heart and I cherish the memories from each one.
You are a passionate wellness advocate and have co-founded KAPOWDER, a popular women-owned sustainable health and wellness company. Tell us more about the company and what inspired the decision to launch it.
Being celiac, I struggled to find nutritious food that met my dietary needs. Collaborating with different laboratories and experts in wellness, my business partner and I aimed to create products that are not only enjoyable, but also seamlessly fit into daily routines, leading to the birth of KAPOWDER.

For the supplements, you use 100 % natural ingredients and 100 % recyclable and reusable packaging. What is the company’s vision, and why is sustainability one of the most important aspects of the company?
In today's fast-paced world of processed foods, fast fashion and social media, we wanted KAPOWDER to embody a lifestyle that is connected to nature. Our vision is to promote well-being while minimizing our environmental footprint through natural ingredients and reusable packaging.
You are also a mom. How do you balance it all, modeling, being a businesswoman, and being a mom?
Good habits are the basis of building a balanced lifestyle. Having a routine and knowing when to take a break helps me balance all areas of my life without overwhelming myself and burning out. We tend to forget that we need space and time to recharge as humans.
What projects are you working on next? What can you share with us about your upcoming ventures and plans?
For KAPOWDER, we have a few exciting things in the works, including the launch of another category of product in the near future.
