ACNE STUDIOS RELEASES THEIR NEW CAMERO BAG FOR 2025

Acne Studios lay bare the unisex style Camero bag for Spring/Summer 2025. The Camero bag was inspired by vintage camera bags through its distinct shape, recalling a direct reference to a bag carried by the Creative Director, Jonny Johansson. The bag encapsulates the early days of his career when transporting a large polaroid lens and camera.

The Camero is a signature everyday bag handcrafted in Italy from supple calfskin leather, enhancing its subdued and slouchy shape. This champions a neuinced house motif: the key charm - a nod to Acne Studios Scandinavian roots. The bag features a metal key that replicates the shape of traditional Swedish house keys, ornamenting the front zip pocket.

The unisex Camero first debuted in the SS25 menswear lookbook, distinguished by its spontaneous spirit, yet maintaining great functionality with five zip-close compartments. A sixth pocket features the metallic Acne Studios rivet closure on the reverse, a handmade detail that also graces the strap, referencing the house’s heritage of denim. The Camero can be worn across the body, over the shoulder or carried with a top-handle style due to its adjustable strap. 

This unisex bag is available in two sizes - ‘Camera’, a mini tote bag; and ‘Party’, a shoulder bag. The Camero comes in a variety of colourways, including a glossy black, chestnut-brown, mushroom-beige and powder-pink. The bag will released in a series of animated prints upon its launch, drawing inspiration from the SS25 womenswear runway collection. The animated prints will feature an embossed croco leather, and acid rose print, a polka dot print and a staple spray-painted Acne Studios logo print. 

From 6 February 2025, the Camero bag will be available in all Acne Studios stores and online.
