ADE WELCOMES AUSTRALIA HOUSE FOR 2024 DEBUT WITH SOUNDS AUSTRALIA

Sounds Australia has announced the launch of a major initiative at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), taking place from October 15 to 20. ADE is one of the world’s foremost gatherings for electronic music and its industry.

For the 2024 edition, ADE will feature Australia House, located in the heart of Amsterdam at Box Sociaal Jordaan. This venue will serve as a vibrant meeting hub for key figures from the Australian electronic music scene who are in town for ADE, as well as global industry leaders and innovators. Australia House will kick off each morning by offering free Aussie coffee to guests. From lunchtime onwards, and continuing into the evening, the space will host a series of exclusive events on Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17, celebrating Australian talent.

Sounds Australia is excited to have Box Sociaal as the home of Australia House at this year’s ADE. The café embodies the essence of community and Australian dining. Drawing inspiration from the early 1900s, it presents a modern Australian culinary experience, specializing in delightful brunches and cocktails.

Australia ranks as the third-largest market globally for electronic music, with Australian fans streaming more of the genre per capita than any other country. Australian artists have achieved remarkable international success, dominating both main stages and underground clubs worldwide, while also paving the way for the next wave of emerging talent. Australia House will be home to celebrations of the Australian and international electronic music community during one of the most influential and educational gatherings for electronic music and its industry.
