BACKSTAGE AT PRESSIAT FALL/WINTER 2025 BY CORALIE WATERLOT

Vincent Pressiat's "Cult”  focused on clean lines and precise tailoring, with each piece emphasising structure and function. The looks were inspired by theatrical characters and avant-garde artworks. Wool, leather, and cashmere were layered to create bold and distinctive silhouettes. The colour palette remained dark, with deep neutrals punctuated by subtle accents. Details were intentional, including sharp cuts to sculptural forms.
Pressiat’s fascination with Pierre Soulages was the foundation of this collection, recalling his monochromatic black paintings. The models dramatically embodied the very essence of Soulages’ paintings, transforming into living artworks.
