BURBERRY CELEBRATES OUTERWEAR HERITAGE WITH NEW POP-UP EVENTS

Continuing its 165 year outerwear celebration, British luxury house Burberry organises a series of pop-up events at various global locations. Inspired by UK parks and the outdoors, the pop-ups serve as a vibrant extension of Burberry’s latest campaign ‘It’s Always Burberry Weather.’ Taking its name from an archive slogan referencing the unpredictable British weather, the campaign celebrates Burberry’s long-standing commitment to outerwear. Embracing all weather conditions, the pop-ups, window displays and in-store activations reflect Burberry’s rich history – with warmth and protection at its core.

The design of the pop-ups alludes to tropes often found in the parks of London. Bringing in a sense of the outdoor, a park pavilion was recreated, which typically offers shelter from rain and storm. Guests entering the store can relax on benches and play checkers, bringing a sense of community to the space. The House’s codes take centre stage as well: the Equestrian Knight Design is inset into a pebbledash-effect floor and featured on a weathervane that sits atop the space’s roof. In select pop-ups, a tea hatch also serves classic British refreshments, like flapjacks and Earl Grey tea.
