Nestled at more than 1,050m high, Caprices Gstaad Festival is a unique blend of local culture, music and unique ambiance. From September 20th to 22nd, the renowned ski station came to life with attendees from all over the world gathering to enjoy outstanding music from exceptional artists and discover the amazing Swiss heritage. Embark with us at the top of the mountains for a truly singular adventure between spectacular nature and grooving sounds.
Right from the start, Caprices Festival Gstaad sets the tone for an eclectic weekend that is like nothing you’ve seen before.The trip to the venue is a superb experience in itself; just take a chairlift offering a breathtaking view on the valley and you will land the Eggli mountaintop, where the party is waiting for you. The venue directly immerses you in the regional atmosphere, with a wooden cabin hosting the main stage where the magic happens. The Yurt stage is a highlight in itself, holding a mystical and intimate aura to it making you feel transported to an other dimension. Everything was arranged for party goers to get a complete experience, from the meticulously crafted mountain-themed decoration to the delicious food available on the premises. The wonderful DJ ine-up took us to new skies, thanks to marvellous sets by Alex Wann, Blond:ish, Parallelle and Carlita. And how to forget the electric b2b of Âme and Jimi Jules, perfect for closing the highly animated Saturday.
But even more than the music, Caprices Festival Gstaad is unique for putting Swiss traditions at the forefront of their initiative. We got to enjoy a special hike in the mountains leading to a tasteful fondue in a giant caquelon. The stunning scenery and delectable cuisine made this moment even more special, and took Caprices Gstaad from a superb musical event to a sincerely unique moment. Differing from the acclaimed festival in Crans-Montana by its summery mood and sophisticated character, Caprices Gstaad aims to expand its reach while preserving its special vision of merging extraordinary locations, celebration of local life and exceptional music. So pick your hiking shoes and your cutest festival outfit, because you would not want to miss the 2025 edition that already promises to be as unforgettable as this year’s.
