CARTIER HOSTS CELEBRATION FOR LANDMARK EXHIBITION AT THE V&A

On April 10th, Cartier and the Victoria & Albert Museum welcomed a select gathering of designers, artists, and cultural tastemakers to celebrate the first major exhibition dedicated to Cartier in nearly 30 years.

Held in the museum’s majestic Raphael Court, the dinner brought together Cartier Ambassadors, Friends of the Maison, press, and clients for an evening of elegance, heritage, and performance.

Among the high-profile guests in attendance were Paul Mescal, Emma Corrin, Gemma Chan, David Jonsson, Fabien Frankel, Marisa Abela, Sophie Wilde, Ellie Bamber, Celeste, William Gao, Simone Rocha, Ozwald Boateng, and Yinka Ilori.

The evening concluded with a special acoustic performance by James Bay and rising star Holly Humberstone, adding a personal and emotional close to a celebration that honoured not just Cartier’s legacy—but its ongoing influence in contemporary culture.

Opening to the public on Saturday, April 12th, the exhibition presents more than 350 objects and archival documents from The Cartier Collection, the V&A, private lenders, and pieces from the Royal Collection. It offers a rare and immersive view into Cartier’s signature style and artistic evolution—from its beginnings in the early 20th century to the present day.
