CDLP LAUNCHES AN AI CAMPAIGN FOR THE HOLIDAY 2024 SEASON

Swedish essentials brand CDLP launches a new campaign, celebrating the timeless essentials as the ultimate gift for this holiday season. The brand invites customers to rediscover the joy of festive through its larger-than-life characters in photo-realistic settings — including living rooms with indoor swimming pools. The locations, nor the characters, do not actually exist, but are solely generated through AI. The campaign is a collaboration with Copylab, a Stockholm-based creative AI-studio, that brought the vision to life. 

“It was an exciting project to try to create images that follow a very characteristic look which CDLP has developed over the years, and see if we could match it, and even evolve it. And we think we did.” says Carl-Axel Wahlström, creative director at Copylab.

CDLP’s core commitment to innovation and sustainability was another part of the reason for the project, exploring how content creation can be achieved using innovative technology and with limited resources. 

“Our visual world is very organic and documentary, and we wanted to see how far we could push the AI to resemble this very personal visual style, and put a twist on it. The results are better than I could expect, and I have to admit it’s a bit frightening.”  says Christian Larson, Co-founder at CDLP.
