CHARLI XCX IS THE NEW FACE OF THE NEW SKIMS COTTON CAMPAIGN

Skims is never late when it comes to trend, and this new campaign is not exception. Calling THE Brat herself, miss Charli XCX to star in the Cotton campaign, SKIMS proved to be on top of things when it comes to being iconic. Captured by world-class photographer Petra Collins, the avant-pop and electronic star is posing in her brand new Cotton Rib and Cotton Fleces styles. The ethereal and delicate ambiance of the images contrast with Charli’s bad girl image, showing us a softer side to her carefree and rebellious spirit. But Brat Summer is not over yet, and this master move orchestrated by the singer is the confirmation that being Brat is more than a trend: it’s a state of mind.

After a summer passed to turn heads all over the world since the release of her already legendary sixth album « Brat », Charli XCX’s road to success knows no end. The phenomenon « Brat Summer » crossed every boundaries to become the reference for a bold and unapologetic way of being, relaying the « clean girl » trend to the closet to embrace a feral lifestyle. In addition, her upcoming headline tour throughout the UK is set to start very soon, and an exciting collaboration with her longtime collaborator Troye Sivan will see the light for the US dates with the SWEAT tour, where the two stars will be sharing the scene. It seems logical for the underwear brand to choose Charli as the face of the Cotton line, as SKIMS has been pushing for acceptance of the self and the empowerment of women since its creation in 2019. A new cap that the British singer endorses, and we cannot be more excited to see what’s coming next.
