DIESEL AND SAVAGE X FENTY COLLABORATE ON NEW CAPSULE COLLECTION
While fans are still eagerly awaiting Rihanna’s return to music, the pop-star has been steadily making power moves in the fashion landscape with her Savage x Fenty lingerie label for a while now. Yesterday, the brand announced its fresh collaboration with Diesel to create an unapologetic apparel collection, which is out now.
Their first-ever collaboration is a genderless one. Inspired by both Diesel’s creative director Glenn Martens and Rihanna’s iconoclastic vision on fashion, the capsule highlights inclusivity and self-love. In true Diesel fashion, denim and utility take centrestage in the collection, and the colours further reflect the bold and bad attitude that embodies both brands.
Fishnets and foil prints additionally align with the garments and the denim pieces feature trompe l’oeil in flocked mesh. The silhouettes are wide ranging, going from string bikinis to thigh-high stockings and tank tops. Each piece has the signature Savage x Fenty and Diesel logo embellished on them, making them instantly recognisable.
Supporting the collection, a striking campaign was shot on the beaches of Tuscany, Italy, photographed by Salvatore Matarazzo and videographer Jacopo Farina. It features various Italian characters of all ages, genders, race, and body types, and showcases that the apparel collection can be confidently worn by anyone.
The capsule is now globally available for purchase in selected Diesel Worldwide stores, six Savage x Fenty retail stores in the US and department stores worldwide. The collection is additionally available online at savagex.com and diesel.com.
