GIVENCHY CELEBRATES PARISIAN ELEGANCE WITH NEW VOYOU STYLES FOR FALL/WINTER 2024
Givenchy presents exciting additions to its Voyou family of statement handbags for its Fall/Winter 2024 collection. They include a new shape — a soft flap shoulder bag called ‘P’tit Voyou’ —a multi-buckle variation on the classic Voyou, in a medium size; and the irresistible Nano Voyou, a miniature version of the original handbag.
First presented alongside the House’s Spring/Summer 2023 women’s collection, the Voyou was an immediate hit for its blend of ladylike handbag codes and a relaxed biker vibe. Its slouchy, V-shaped allure instantly conveys easy chic Parisian nonchalance.
For Fall/Winter 2024, the P’tit Voyou brings a feminine twist to the Voyou lineup. This essential flap style tempers the Voyou’s signature rock attitude with an architectural construction in cloud-soft, puffy patent calf leather. Sleek lines, tactile softness, and a buckled statement shoulder strap blend are on-trend yet embrace a functional design with two main compartments and a credit card slot for keeping essentials to hand.
True to Givenchy’s ethos, an adjustable leather strap makes it possible to carry the P’tit Voyou over the shoulder or as a clutch. The style is finished with a refined magnetic flap closure and a discreet metallic Givenchy logo in front. It is available in seasonal black and vermilion patent leather, as well as in a silver laminated version.
Also new this year is the Voyou bag in a one-off model that accentuates the bag’s rock roots. The vermilion Voyou, in medium size, is crafted in shiny tumbled leather with a subtle grainy effect and embellished at its angles with four multi-buckle straps.
With its signature, slouchy V-shaped design, the medium Voyou has a generous main compartment with an inner zip pocket for keeping daily essentials secure. Multiple styles of wear reflect a range of moods and attitudes thanks to an adjustable leather strap discreetly embossed with “Givenchy” lettering. Distinctive hardware embellishments give it an additional jewel-like allure, adding a dash of Parisian nonchalance to any look.
Last but not least, a trendy, scaled-down model joins the Voyou family, in either leather or noble textiles, for fans who like to move around freely while keeping just the essentials to hand. Picking up on the allure of its big sister, the Nano Voyou has a main compartment that accommodates a smartphone, cards, and keys, with sleek handles for an easy hand-carry, plus a removable strap for cross-body wear. Elegant finishings play up everyday Parisian chic, with signature engraved buckles, discreet side knots and metallic lettering.
Givenchy’s Nano Voyou is available in tumbled calfskin with a subtle grain, in black or eye-catching vermillion with turned edges and two-tone hardware embellishments; a laminated silver leather version features tonal hardware. Alternatives, in black satin or dark navy velvet, are accentuated with distinctive silver-finish hardware.
