GIVENCHY UNVEILS ‘A HOLIDAY GAME’ FOR THE 2024 FESTIVE SEASON
For the upcoming holiday season, Givenchy unveils a new campaign, titled ‘A Holiday Game,’ starring ready-to-wear and accessories from the House. Captured by Mark Kean, the images envision a elegant simplicity and intimacy that comes from playing classic board games together.
Key women’s looks include pieces such as a dress with crystals and feathers interwoven throughout. Statement outerwear that star cheetah prints and faux black fur, and a jacket with wide fur cuffs that juxtapose and complement the visually interesting board games. Casual wear includes a cozy ribbed knit and well-loved denim, accompanied by the emblematic Voyou bag in suede shearling. The holiday mood is further accentuated with various bags like the P’tit Voyou in black leather, the Antigona Toy Lock, and the swingy Pumpkin bourse bag with a metallic strap. Accessories complete the different looks, from Shark boots to cat-eye sunglasses embellished with crystals.
Men’s tailoring fuses Givenchy’s aristocratic image with a more flamboyant side. Formal clothing, notably tuxedo jackets and cummerbunds, take on an extravagant attitude with rust or purple accents. The traditional argyle, revisited in aqua brights, incorporates the archival Monogram 72 motif. Star accessories include the dandy-chic Day sunglasses and this season’s chunky-soled Chelsea boots.
