KATY PERRY STUNS IN THE NEW BOTH X JEANNE FRIOT

Presented on the runway during Menswear Paris Fashion Week, the collaboration between the eco-conscious labels Both and Jeanne Friot renewed its commitment to a more virtuous and inclusive fashion. Paying homage to their collaboration presented last June and reinterpreting the special project for the Paris Olympic Games, where the silver medalist rider wore XXL SILVER BOOTS specially dyed in silver, a new line of boots made from natural rubber and recycled plastic was unveiled. This line is part of Both’s SS25 collection.

To launch the collection, Katy Perry chose to wear the boots for her first appearance in Europe and France in six years, on the stage of the Pièces Jaunes Gala at the Accor Arena in La Défense on Thursday, January 23rd. The event will be broadcasted on France 2 and France TV on January 28th, giving viewers the chance to enjoy the nostalgic hits of the Californian singer, but in a very timely context: that of engaged, eco-responsible, and inclusive designer fashion.

Within hours, the Silver GAO Platform Knee Boot went from Alexandre III Bridge, where Jeanne Friot's VISIONS show was held, for last-minute fitting with the singer in Nanterre. The love-at-first-sight moment led to the reveal of a full silver look signed by Jeanne Friot and unveiled the very morning too. The Parisian shoe label Both stands out for its exploration of rubber, a material reinvented through unique vulcanisation techniques. With a hybrid and minimalist aesthetic, the brand blends artisanal know-how with modern design, incorporating noble leathers and experimental materials. The creations, including robust silhouettes and iconic soles made of natural rubber and recycled plastic, offer durability and comfort for a new era of footwear.
