MORGAN RIDDLE’S FASHION DIARY
Morgan Riddle — “the most famous woman in men’s tennis” according to The New York Times, attended New York Fashion Week this season. Morgan has cemented herself as a leading voice at the intersection of fashion and sports, with a front-row perspective on how the two worlds collide.
“The show was beautiful! There were so many different varieties of textures on dresses which I was blown away by. One section of the show, they used little mirrors on the dresses and the skirts and then another section, they used real feathers on the dresses that were painted in gold. The whole collection was super beautiful and very signature Oscar looks. There were lots of florals and embroidery.
When it came to my dress - I am really into baby blue right now and I think the color will be super popular this year so we were trying to decide between a pink dress or baby blue dress. Because I feel like Oscar is very colorful, I went with the baby blue! Obviously, the structure of the dress was really unique!”
“Getting ready for an Oscar de la Renta show felt like a dream. This dress made me feel so feminine.”
“I fell in love with this dress the second I saw it. The structure, the sleeves, the soft blue—it’s giving modern day Cinderella in the best way possible.”
“A final touch before heading out! Oscar de la Renta is such a timeless designer, so I kept my makeup look to reflect that.”
