CARTIER CREATIONS SHINE IN THE NEW MARIA BIOPIC STARRING ANGELINA JOLIE
The anticipation for Maria, the upcoming biopic about Maria Callas, has us on the edge of our seats. Directed by Pablo Larraín and slated for release on Netflix on December 11th, this emotional film promises to captivate audiences with a deep dive into Callas’ final years, brought to life by Angelina Jolie. Set in the 1970s, the movie will not only leave us moved by its storytelling but also by its breathtaking costumes. Jolie will wear iconic Cartier jewellery, including a 1971 panther brooch and a stunning 1972 rose clip, crafted from gold, platinum, diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. The rose brooch, with its unique mechanism that opens and closes its petals, symbolizes the complexity of Callas' own life. Jolie remarked, “It was moving to wear jewellery she owned—it felt special and right for Maria.” Cartier's contribution goes beyond jewellery, with the Maison also supporting the use of the legendary La Scala opera house in the film, further strengthening its connection to Callas’ enduring legacy.

This genderless collection blends Damiano’s distinctive personal style with Diesel's ethos of nonconformity, freedom, and inclusivity. CHARLI XCX IS THE NEW FACE OF ACNE STUDIOS
Charli XCX, the undisputed Queen of Brats, has returned to our feeds—and this time, she's stealing the spotlight as the face of Acne Studios' newest campaign. Photographed by the talented Talia Chetrit, Charli brings her signature rebellious spirit to a hotel room set, draped in Acne Studios’ latest pieces. From styling the Multipocket bag as a top to confidently rocking the Bowlina bag as a bra, Charli's attitude shines in every shot. The campaign highlights key looks from the SS25 collection, including the eye-catching iridescent coated denim and painted trompe-l’oeil styles.
As Charli shared: “I’ve been wearing Acne Studios forever. It’s such a big part of my music and life. I wore it while writing my record, and I’ve been wearing it on stage. Their clothes make me feel confident, effortless, and cool. It’s a dream to work with them.”
ELIE SAAB CELEBRATES 45 YEARS WITH STAR-STUDDED GUESTS
What happens when you invite Celine Dion, Camila Cabello, and Jennifer Lopez to your birthday party? Elie Saab made it happen last week, celebrating the 45th anniversary of his brand in grand style.
The event, titled "The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab," took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the annual Riyadh Season. The celebration, blending fashion, art, and entertainment, featured a spectacular show inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. Performances from Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez were the standout moments, with Saab showcasing his evolution from a small designer with just 15 seamstresses to a global fashion empire with workshops in Paris, Milan, and Lebanon. A pivotal moment came when Halle Berry, the actress Saab famously dressed for her Oscar win in 2002, returned to the catwalk, wearing the iconic red gown she wore to accept her award for Monster’s Ball. The show culminated with Celine Dion’s emotional performance of "The Power of Love" and "I’m Alive." Despite battling stiff person syndrome, Dion called the event a "dream come true" as she sang in a shimmering pink Elie Saab gown, closing the event on a high note.
HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW TRAILER FOR THE LAST SHOW GIRL STARRING PAMELA ANDERSON AND DIRECTED BY GIA COPPOLA?
Pamela Anderson's return to the screen is exactly what we’ve been waiting for! After watching her Netflix documentary, we feel like we’ve only scratched the surface of her incredible personality—and The Last Showgirl feels like the perfect next chapter in her story. Directed by the talented Gia Coppola, The Last Showgirl is a drama where Anderson portrays Shelly, a veteran showgirl forced to face an uncertain future when her 30-year-long show suddenly ends. As Anderson herself puts it, “This was meant for me.” She has poured everything into this role, connecting with the character on a deeply personal level. With an ensemble cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, and Billie Lourd, this film is shaping up to be a must-see.
PETER DO EXITS HELMUT LANG
All relationships eventually come to an end, and in Peter Do’s case, it happened sooner than expected. The New York designer, one of the brightest stars in fashion, is stepping down from his role at Helmut Lang after less than two years. Helmut Lang’s direction seems more confused now than ever. Do’s debut collection, presented in September 2023, generated mixed feelings. Despite the high expectations surrounding his arrival, the collection fell short of delivering the bold, game-changing designs many anticipated, leaving fashion critics unsatisfied. In a statement, Do expressed his gratitude for the support of his team, calling his time at Helmut Lang "a dream come true."
Do remains committed to his own label, which he launched in 2018, where he will continue to focus on his personal creative vision.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: DR. MARTENS X MM6 MAISON MARGIELA NEW FW24 COLLECTION
If you were struggling to look for the perfect winter boots, MM6 and Dr. Martens have just solved all your footwear dilemmas. The highly anticipated MM6 Fall/Winter 2024 collaboration with Dr. Martens, first teased during Milan Fashion Week, has finally arrived—and it’s exactly as funky and unique as we hoped. The standout piece? The MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens ankle boot, which seamlessly merges the iconic 1460 black black leather boot with the brand’s low-top red oxford, creating a striking hybrid of two distinct styles in one shoe.
True to MM6’s dedication to abstraction and geometry, the design fuses different textiles and materials, offering a fresh take on the traditional Dr. Martens silhouette. This season, Maison Margiela embraces the concept of merging contrasts, blending shapes and fabrics to produce a shoe that’s both avant-garde and wearable. With this new collaboration, you can get the best of both worlds. The collection doesn’t stop there: the MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens Moccasin is another showstopper, a mashup of penny loafer and Oxford styles. It’s proof that sometimes, when two different worlds collide, the result is nothing short of intriguing.
