LANVIN RETURNS TO PARIS FASHION WEEK
Sometimes, all you need is a break from the spotlight to return stronger than ever. This is exactly what we wish for Lanvin, the iconic French fashion house, which is making its highly anticipated return to Paris after two years — and at a pivotal moment in its journey. Set to debut during Men's Fashion Week in January, Lanvin will showcase its new direction under the creative leadership of Peter Copping, who joined the brand in September 2024. His debut collection, a co-ed show (featuring both men's and women's collections), will take place ahead of Couture Week, from January 27th to 30th. A bold and strategic move - someone might add - signaling Lanvin’s commitment to the future while sparking curiosity about whether the brand will soon resume its couture collections.
Rumours say that Peter Copping’s debut collection will not only unveil a new vision for Lanvin but also introduce a fresh wave of accessories, including updated bags and shoes. With a bold mix of innovation and heritage, Lanvin is poised to redefine its identity and captivate both loyal followers and new audiences.
MS. TINA AND SOLANGE IN GUCCI'S NEW HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN
Your favorite Christmas postcard has arrived just in time for the holidays — and this year, it's curated by Gucci. “Gucci Gift: Coming Home”, the house's new Holiday Campaign stars the iconic Solange, alongside her mother, Miss Tina Knowles, in a heartwarming celebration of family. Serving as the third chapter in Gucci's holiday story, the campaign showcases real-life family moments, with mother and daughter donning head-to-toe Gucci looks.
In the campaign, Tina and Solange wear a mix of ready-to-wear pieces and signature GG emblem handbags. Tina exudes elegance in a black blouse and tailored trousers, paired with a Gucci Marina Chain Necklace and Signoria Slingback Pumps. Solange, ever the fashion-forward muse, dons a Gucci leather jacket with jeans, accessorized with a GG Marmont belt, Gucci Marina Chain Earrings, a printed scarf, Signoria Slingback Pumps, and a Horsbit 1955 handbag. Directed by Marcell Rev, the campaign was photographed by Anthony Seklaoui, with still photography captured by Deo Suveera and Pamela Dimitrov.
JIL SANDER PARTNERS WITH OTB FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT AFGHAN GIRLS' ORPHANAGE
Fashion has always been intertwined with the social and political movements of its time, and Jil Sander has once again proven the power of fashion to inspire change. The brand has joined forces with the OTB Foundation and Nove Caring Humans to support a vital cause — the creation of a new orphanage for girls in Kapisa, a province northeast of Kabul. This initiative builds on the success of a similar partnership launched in 2022, which contributed to the reopening of a boys' orphanage in Kapisa. Since its reopening, the orphanage has provided shelter, safety, and support to around 100 children who have lost their parents or have been abandoned.
The new girls' facility will offer not only a safe haven but also critical services such as education, food, clothing, and personal care. With a focus on empowering young girls, the project aims to protect them from the threats of abuse, child marriage, exploitation, and mistreatment, ensuring that they have the opportunity to rebuild their futures. By providing these resources, Jil Sander and the OTB Foundation are helping to create a foundation for a better life, one that offers dignity, opportunity, and hope.
