Today, 2 April, Aman officially opens the doors to Aman Nai Lert Bangkok. Set within the private, seven-acre gardens of Nai Lert Park, the 52-suite property marks Aman’s return to Thailand, joining Amanpuri—the brand’s original resort—where its story began 37 years ago.
Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, the hotel offers a quiet counterpoint to the surrounding city. Located in central Bangkok, it introduces a new kind of urban retreat: one rooted in stillness, light, and space. The suites reflect Aman’s signature architectural language—open layouts, neutral tones, a clear sense of proportion—and are positioned to frame views of the park’s mature trees and tropical gardens.
The hotel also includes a 1,500-square-metre Aman Spa & Wellness centre, offering a range of integrative therapies, traditional Thai treatments, and movement practices. Floor-to-ceiling windows and minimal interiors allow the natural surroundings to remain the focus.
Aman Nai Lert Bangkok features seven venues for dining and gathering, including a signature omakase restaurant, a French-Japanese pâtisserie, and the atmospheric Jazz Bar—set in a double-height space overlooking the park. Each venue is open to both hotel guests and locals, reinforcing the hotel’s position not just as a place to stay, but as a destination in its own right.
This opening marks a homecoming for Aman—returning to the country where it began, now with a distinct urban presence. Aman Nai Lert Bangkok offers a different pace of city life: slower, quieter, and entirely its own.
