LOUIS VUITTON ILLUMINATES PARIS DURING THE OLYMPIC GAMES CLOSING CEREMONY

After playing a key role in the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Louis Vuitton tagged along for the closing ceremony, bringing creativity, inclusivity and diversity to the show. By showcasing a superb performance of Edith Piaf’s “Sous le Ciel de Paris” by Zaho de Sagazan, the fashion House celebrates France’s marvelous musical heritage.

As a dear friend of the House, Zaho de Sagazan shares Louis Vuitton’s values of openness, tolerance and excellence combined. Her multiple wins at the French Victoires de la Musique, propelled her to the rank of musical sensation in no time. Her deep, moving voice was accompanied by 32 chorus singers, all in perfect harmony with the Olympic movement. Her performance is central to the ceremony’s first tableau, and set the tone for an unforgettable evening honoring the Olympic philosophy of sport, friendship and international amity. The singer was wearing a black bodysuit in jersey with a fuller insert, paired with a two-tone skirt in fluid silk with ruffles and a pair of black leather Jazz derby shoes.
