FORZA COLLECTIVE ITS SS25 COLLECTION AT CPHFW
Fashion label Forza collective presented its SS25 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Rooted in the concept of juxtaposition, the collection presents an interplay between structure and softness. Creative director Kristoffer Kongshaug explored 60’s and 70’s couture period mixed with a 90’s minimalism influence that embodies Forza Collective’s unique vision. Danish actress Ellen Hillingsø and ballet dancer Cecilie Lassen took part in the presentation, embodying the strength and energy characteristics of the Forza Collective woman.
“I liked the idea of Harrison Ford speaking quietly and fine tuning an instrument to enhance or control future mayhem (Blade Runner). The audience is positioned close to the catwalk, and the venue is shaped like an M, in order to let the models have as much time on the floor as possible and for the spectators to experience the colors and details up close. I wanted to work with strong and fast-paced music to bring energy.”
A strong and energetic colour palette graced the garments, inspiring the viewer to engage with the creations, assuring that no one is left untouched. Silver details on flowing dresses embracing the body brought a futuristic touch to the whole, while organic mesh surface appliques used on gowns, shirts and bags brought delicacy and movement, creating an exquisite contrast. Deconstructed bra cups in mesh, jersey and plated silver paved the runway alongside heavy satin dress with an amplified skirt highlighting the waistline. The materials ranged from twill wool to mesh, passing by faux leather and PVC, with 3D mesh details composing the outfits.
