TAG HEUER INTRODUCES THE NEW CARRERA CHRONOGRAPH SEAFARER MODEL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HODINKEE
TAG Heuer is proud to announce the release of their newest TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer x Hodinkee. It all started in 1968, when Heuer introduced the reference 2446C Seafarer, Hodinkee produced 968 pieces of the watch, and since then, two Hodinkee x TAG Heuer saw the light of day. With this new model, 125 pieces will be sold by Hodinkee at their shop, and the rest of the units will be available via TAG Heuer at selected retailers and boutiques worldwide.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer x Hodinkee is a modern, robust and innovative interpretation of the classic Seafarer reference. Having proved a great resistance to shock and water, the Chronograph Seafarer x Hodinkee presents a domed sapphire crystal allowing for a vintage allure while being significantly more durable and clearer. Shades of sky and royal blue adorn the Regatta and Tide subdials, honoring the colour codes of the original model. The watch is designed as a revival of the iconic Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer, which Heuer produced for the sporting goods retailer from the 1950s into the 1970s. A thoroughly modern Carrera, but updated for today’s adventures with the design ethos of one of Hodinkee’s very favourite and most notable vintage Heuer references.
