You’ve made a name for yourself in both fashion and music – how would you say these two creative worlds influence each other in your life?
I feel like the two come hand in hand with each other. I get a lot of fashion inspiration from musicians that I look up to, so for me it’s all sort of merged into one.
Being the face of the 2024 Burberry Classics campaign was a big moment for your modelling career. How did that collaboration come about, and what was the experience like?
I have always loved working with Burberry and the brand itself I have always admired. Getting to wear the classics collection was cool and an honour.

You’ve walked for iconic fashion houses like Lanvin or Yves Saint Laurent. How do you approach runway work versus editorial shoots, and do you have a preference on what type of modelling work you enjoy more?
With runway there is so much build up during the hours before the show, so you do naturally feel a bit nervous but if you try to not over think it, you’ll be fine. I enjoy the one-to-one feeling of editorials, as you get more time to understand the team you’re working with and vice versa.
Balancing music and fashion must be a challenge. How do you manage your time between these two demanding industries.
It can be difficult sometimes, but I like how busy and exciting it can get. Sometimes I’ll have to prioritise one over the other depending on what is going on at the time.

Your band Automation has developed a unique sound. Can you tell us more about the musical influences behind the band and how your creative process works?
I feel like we all collectively kind of had the same music taste, so it was easy to decipher what sound we wanted to put out. We want to keep creating new sounds, while drawing from artists like My Bloody Valentine or Kevin Shields, with a psychedelic aspect as well.
How do you and the band navigate evolving your sound while staying true to your roots?
When we’re in the studio, we like to get experimental and keep our minds open to see if anything can come out of it. I think this process is helping us stay true to our roots, as we’ve always used to curate our music this way.

Is there a particular moment in your music or modelling career that has been especially meaningful to you?
In terms of modelling, I think walking for Burberry must be up there. It’s experiences I won’t forget.
Fashion is all about expressing identity. Do you find that your personal style changes based on your music projects, or do they remain separate?
To be honest, I don’t over think it. I’ve always just worn what I feel comfortable in and that I think is cool.

As someone who’s seen both the fashion industry and music up close, what advice would you give to young creatives trying to break into these fields?
I would say, just surround yourself with people who ground and support you as it can be tough sometimes.
What can we expect from you next? Are there any upcoming projects you’re particularly excited about?
We’ve got a European tour coming up in the next few weeks which I’m super excited about.
