BALMAIN HAIR CELEBRATES ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY IN PARIS
Marking its 50th anniversary, Balmain Hair celebrated its birthday grandiosely in the Lapérouse in Paris. Co-hosted by model Alton Mason and photographer Sebastian Faena, the event honoured the rich heritage of Balmain Hair, a brand originating from 1974 after a collaboration between designer Pierre Balmain and wig maker Dick Guliker.
Initially, the partnership between the two aimed to create wigs for Balmain Paris fashion shows, creating Balmain Hair Wigs in the process. But over the years, the brand has evolved into a high-end luxury hair brand, offering a wide range of care and styling products on an international level. To commemorate its golden anniversary, Balmain Hair unveiled its latest campaign, "1974," featuring model Eniko Mihalik and photographed by Sebastian Faena.
The glamorous evening brought together some of the industry’s biggest names, with guests including Francisco Lachowski, Kate Walsh, Sofia Resing, Zarina Yeva, and many more. Sipping on Clase Azul Tequilla Gold and other exquisite cocktails, the celebration was one to remember. As the evening came to a close, the essence of Balmain Hair’s milestone celebration lingered. With five decades of combining hair essentials with catwalk trends, the brand looks ahead to a promising future as it cements its status as one of the industry’s luxury hair leaders.
