BEHIND THE SCENES AT DIESEL’ SS25 SHOW BY CORALIE WATERLOT
words by MARIE-PAULINE CESARI
At Diesel's SS25 show, creative director Glenn Martens transported us to Planet Diesel, where alien-like models walked through a landscape of 14,800kg of shredded denim—roughly 15 tonnes. “There is beauty in waste, in what is distressed and destroyed,” said Martens, pushing both design elevation and circularity. The models embodied this ethos, with their futuristic presence draped in distressed fabrics, symbolizing transformation. Backstage, Coralie Waterlot’s photography captured the raw, otherworldly energy of this spectacle, where fashion and sustainability collided in perfect harmony.
