CARTIER UNVEILS THE PANTHÈRE ELIXIR: AN IRRESISTIBLY ADDICTIVE FRAGRANCE

Cartier ushers in the new season with a captivating addition to its fragrance family: La Panthère Elixir, the Maison's iconic feline floral scent. House perfumer Mathilde Laurent has once again redefined the codes of perfumery. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s archives, she has reimagined the original La Panthère fragrance, first launched in 2014, infusing it with a bold, free-spirited essence.

“Every woman harbors an essence of femininity within her, and every flower carries animal notes in its heart.”

—Mathilde Laurent, Cartier’s House Perfumer

La Panthère Elixir envelops you in a soft, intoxicating blend of feline fur notes, balanced by the warmth of musk and the allure of velvety jasmine, adding a new dimension to the classic Eau de Parfum.

The panther has always held a special place in Cartier's legacy. First appeared in a watch design with spotted motifs in 1914, it has since become the creative signature of the Maison. Jeanne Toussaint, the visionary Creative Director in 1933, played a pivotal role in solidifying the connection between the panther and Cartier, bringing the creature to life in three dimensions in 1948.

In terms of design, Cartier has accentuated the panther's curves in an organic, primal style. The refillable bottle, with its softened lines, strengthens the connection to the Maison's jewelry heritage.

Mathilde Laurent continues to keep the spirit of the panther and Jeanne Toussaint alive with La Panthère Elixir, capturing the sensation of touching the animal’s fur—silent, intense, and as soft as caressing velvet.
