CLUB RAUM WILL HOST ‘ECDYSIS’ TO CELEBRATE 5 YEARS OF AMNIOTE EDITIONS

On December 21st, Club RAUM is set to host ECDYSIS: Amniote Editions, an event celebrating 5 years of the acclaimed label by Danish artist Mama Snake. The celebration will see performances from Mama Snake, b2b Peachlyfe, Highfuture, and Cora across the exposition and studio.

Alongside the event, Amniote Editions released a remix compilation capsule. Artists featured were invited to reimagine past tracks from the label in a new contemporary jacket. ECDYSIS describes the process like a shedding of skin — in order to grow and evolve, you must transform the old.

On the capsule, Mama Snake explains “The vision behind ‘ECDYSIS’ was developed and shaped into this final form for quite some time by everyone involved over a period of almost 2 years. It has been a pretty extensive project spanning from the back catalog remix compilation and artwork by our design team Alexis Mark and 3D Artist Yilmaz Sen to the debut album of Spekki Webu with visuals by Matti Vilho to the worldwide label tour and finally jewellery collaboration with Magma CPH.”

With skin tight productions and a dangerously slick sound, the label will transform the club into a tripped-out snake pit for the night to celebrate the principles of growth and collaboration.
