Maria Grazia Chiuri brought together once again mythology and fashion for the Dior Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The untamed and powerful energy of the Amazon - the iconic Greek warrior - is reimagined in a collection designed to let the body move freely. Captured in a series of captivating images by artist Sarah Jones, the collection evokes an ethereal dialogue between nature and the vibrant energy of Paris.
Set against a dreamlike countryside backdrop, the models look suspended in time, in a moment where tradition and innovation merge together, with the soft hues of a blue sky shifting between dawn and dusk. In these surreal tableaux, the collection emerges as a fusion of technical mastery and high fashion, with audacious lines and sculptural forms that capture both athleticism and elegance. Bodysuits adorned with asymmetrical cut-outs or striking stripes recall a redefined sportswear lexicon, while Dior’s iconic logo, D.I.O.R., is stretched and distorted in a visual homage to graphic art.
In true Dior fashion, Chiuri honors the house’s architectural legacy by drawing from the codes of menswear. Jackets inspired by the sharp lines of Christian Dior’s 1948-1949 Abandon dress are paired with pants that expertly manipulate volume and drape, merging past and future with unparalleled sophistication.
