GOING TO THE BEACH WITH CLASS AND GRACE WEARING ROCHAS SS25
Unveiled at Théâtre du Châtelet in the heart of Paris, Rochas showcased their Spring/Summer’25 collection under Alessandro Vigilante’s creative direction. Backdropped by a beach house and a sand-covered floor, audiences were transported into a sea sirenic setting where models flaunted coastal leisurewear infused with Parisian refinement and grace.
With a diverse colour palette of sunshine yellow, turquoise blue, and wooden beige, reminiscening of both sea, wind, and sand, the various looks were giving everything beachy. From flowy dresses to sturdy gladiator sandals and draped skirts, the collection radiated elevated beachwear mixed with a more profound sophistication. Relaxed blazers combined with bold accessories, like deep red belts and gloves, exalted a certain elegance that is perfect for a laid back beachy atmosphere.
A statement “R” was adorned on many of the jewellery and accessoiry pieces, like the aforementioned belt and oversized earrings, both a nod to the monogram and a poise luxurious playfulness. The letter was additionally found on the wooden heel of square toe mules.
What really brings the collection to life are the different textures that play into one another. The pink-pastel blazer was for instance paired with a more rugged skirt, and the brown gladiator sandals were set against a transparent flower pattern dress. Overall, the Rochas Spring/Summer’25 runway was a tranquil retreat to the beaches, and the looks and garments complemented the trip perfectly.
