Louis Vuitton releases a beautiful new campaign featuring House Ambassadors Lisa and Saoirse Ronan, wearing statement pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière’s latest Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The two muses - Lisa and Saoirse are depicted as contemporary portraits within the atmospheric paintings of French conceptual artist Laurent Grasso, shot by Steven Meisel. Ghesquière’s graceful yet powerful designs blend perfectly with Laurent Grasso’s vivid landscapes, inspired by historical painting compositions and techniques.
This collection aims to embody the concept of ‘soft power’, featuring hybrid silhouettes outlined by delicate airy contours. As creative director Nicolas Ghesquière envisions a multifaceted femininity shaped by structure and fluidity – and so effortlessly, he most certainly achieves that. The prints for the pieces are inspired once again by the works of Laurent Grasso, complimented by delicate embroidery and textural depth.
Faithful to its heritage, Louis Vuitton has opened its doors to artists, designers and architects. The two talents for this campaign are both significant influences in the music and film industries. Lisa is a member of the South Korean group Blackpink, and has recently released an array of new singles. She will soon make her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus, set in Thailand. Saoirse Ronan is a four-time Oscar nominee. She broke into Hollywood at 13 years old with her performance as Briony Tallis in Atonement, which garnered her BAFTA and Oscar nominations. Her recent film credits include Little Women, Lady Bird, and Brooklyn.
