LOUIS VUITTON UNVEILS FALL-WINTER 2025 MEN’S PRE-COLLECTION

For its Fall-Winter 2025 Men’s Pre-collection by Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton is set to make a cross-continental cruise from Paris to Miami. Evoking the transatlantic glory days of Miami Beach, the looks trace the leisure-like roots of dandy dressing core. Reimagined through a contemporary lens, the wardrobe portrays the creative evolution that naturally comes with travelling from place to place.

The collection itself is envisioned in two parts, adapted respectively to the environment of the journey. The first chapter — the transit wardrobe — salutes the tailoring and classic sportswear called for by the cruiser liner dress code. Bathed in the colours of the sunset and its reflection in the sea, the collection is relaxed yet refined in its sporty approach. It’s both elegant and subtle, and the integration of the environment into the collection also adds a certain storytelling element to the looks. The second chapter — the arrival wardrobe — takes us to the beach and pools of Miami instead. Leisurely, pastel-painted, and light; this part of the collection oozes of resort casualness.

The motifs and accessories are also in the theme of travel and relaxation. The Monogram Regatta print is made up of tiny boats, for example, and exercised on blue and white nylon windbreakers and chambray shorts. It serves as this season’s emblematic motif, though other naval codes — like sailing jackets and stripes of shirts and knitwear — further echo in the collection.

Shoes additionally draw from the dress codes of sailing and elements native to the beach. The Scala loafer is adorned with a new distorted metal logo, crafted in black glazed leather, while the Runaway Maxi amplifies the volume of the existing design. The LV Footprint football boot has also evolved to include pink, light blue, brown and sandy colours.
