MARINE SERRE LAUNCHES NEW GROUND CONTROL CAMPAIGN
Following the Ground Control show earlier this year, Marine Serre returns with a supporting campaign. Similar to the runway, the campaign creates a twilight zone where lines between reality and fantasy slowly begin to fade. The Fall/Winter’24 campaign reconnects to the core essence of the brand: freedom, spirituality, and a seamless combination of narrative and design.
Inspired by Renaissance paintings and dramatics, an entourage of Marine Serre followers leave industrial habitats to find abandoned vehicles in a never-ending country field. It is surreal imagery and further conveys the spiritual aspects of the brand, which are carried over in its iconic moon logo. The symbols are plastered onto tight-fitting leather pieces, while more soft fabrics, like satin, are crafted from innovative designs. While these pieces remain in a mostly neutral palette, hints of primary colours do pop out here and there. Additionally, upcycled t-shirts feature delicate lace and trompe-l’oeil python patterns, which add a refined elegance that bridges space and time.
The collection is out now and can be found here.
