NUDE PROJECT ANNOUNCES A NEW FLAGSHIP STORE IN AMSTERDAM
words by SONNY NGO
Last weekend, Nude Project landed in Amsterdam for an exclusive boat party and pop-up event. It was a great success as the boat was filled with laughter and bright smiles, and countless new faces were waiting in queue for the opening of the temporary store. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long again before the brand returns, as founder Bruno Casanovas announced in his speech that they have plans to permanently open a flagship store in the city, eyeing for an early 2025 opening.
On Friday, DJ Dion Visser set hearts ablaze during the three hour long boat trip. Featuring Nude Project branded transport, a curated list of 40 guests with influencers, friends, and family, danced valiantly in pink cowboy hats as the boat roamed through the canals of Amsterdam. It was the perfect energy for the day and its vibrancy carried over to the day of the pop-up itself.
Throughout the event, over 800 people visited the store and nearly all of the items on display were sold out. Hype continued to ensue the queue as more and more scratch cards unveiled stellar prizes, including hoodies, thousand dollar vouchers, and an exuberant clothes for life guarantee. The lively attitude was further enhanced through a vibey DJ set and free drinks from Spanish brand Desnuda Beer.
Overall the weekend was an amazing getaway, but fret not if you didn’t have the chance to attend. Starting 2025, Nude Project will set its eyes on being permanently available in the Dutch capital as a new flagship store will open. Located at Leidsestraat 31, near the Keizersgracht, and with approximately 400 square meters worth of space, there will be enough room to enjoy the diverse collections of the ready-to-wear label.
