NXT MUSEUM PRESENTS ‘HUNGER TO CREATE’ DURING THIS YEAR’S ADE
In collaboration with ADE Arts & Culture, Nxt Museum presents ‘Hunger To Create,’ a unique audiovisual showcase featuring live electronic experimentation and immersive visuals. This multi-performance event will take place on Friday, 18th October, from 20:30 to 01:00 at Nxt Museum in Amsterdam Noord.
The monumental projection surface of the museum will be transformed into a canvas of audiovisual art, and Berlin-based sound artist and techno DJ Dasha Rush will debut her “Hypothetically Personal” A/V show, blending intricate, ambient soundscapes and stunning visuals.
Joining her is Dutch techno DJ and sound artist Spekki Webu, who will team up with London-based Finnish visual artist Matti Vilho for the premiere of ‘Signal Transmutations.’ This immersive audiovisual live experience dives into the subconscious and has been explicitly re-crafted for the ADE. The evening is bookended by DJ sets from Amsterdam’s very own Vân Anh, ensuring a captivating start and finish to the night’s innovative performances.
“We are thrilled to host ‘Hunger To Create’ at Nxt Museum,” said Natasha Greenhalgh, co-founder of Nxt Museum. “This event embodies our commitment to showcasing the art of now. It’s an unparalleled fusion of technology and creativity that highlights the groundbreaking work of these incredible artists.”
