NUDE PROJECT’S SS25 COLLECTION “BAMBINO” REKINDLES THE WONDER OF CHILDHOOD
With Bambino, its first Spring/Summer 2025 drop, Nude Project taps into a beautifully simple idea: what if we never stopped seeing the world through a child’s eyes?
Inspired by Lola—a 7-year-old muse with a fearless imagination and boundless energy—the Spanish streetwear label invites us to reconnect with our inner child. In true Nude fashion, the result is anything but expected. This is nostalgia with edge: playful silhouettes, unapologetic color, and prints that look like they’ve leapt straight from the pages of a sketchbook.
Photographed by Pepe Herreros, the campaign captures the raw joy of childhood—those carefree afternoons when time feels endless, clothes are meant for moving, and self-expression isn’t a trend but a reflex. From wide-leg denim cuts like Badea and Old Baggy, to statement tapestry jackets with suede collars and pearl buttons, the drop blends comfort and intention with just the right amount of irreverence. Even the jewelry line, with its organic forms and beach-found-stone aesthetics, is a love letter to youthful wonder.
To mark the launch, Nude Project opened the doors of its brand-new 200m² flagship in Madrid. Located on Calle Fuencarral 18—where the brand first dipped its toes into physical retail—the space is designed as a “Nude House”: a hybrid between home, atelier, and cultural haven. With cozy lounges, reading corners, fitting rooms that feel like bedrooms, and a vibe inspired by 60s–80s Hollywood mansion parties, it’s clear this isn’t just a store—it’s a lifestyle portal.
Co-founders Álex Benlloch and Bruno Casanovas see it as a homecoming in every sense. “We want people to walk in and feel like they’re being welcomed into our world. That’s why it feels so personal—like stepping into someone’s home for the first time,” says Álex.
The space, conceptualized by design studio El Departamento, is a tactile exploration in contrast: natural wood meets steel, velvet flirts with terrazzo, and open ceilings evoke a sense of California lightness. According to architect Alberto Eltini and creative director Marina Martín, the flagship is meant to flow—encouraging exploration, reflection, and play.
Bambino arrives in a milestone year for Nude Project. From their first women’s line (featuring Victoria Federica and Belén Esteban), to their Ronaldinho collaboration, to an unexpected footwear partnership with Sebago—2025 is proving to be the brand’s most imaginative chapter yet.
