Sacai just turned the Palais de Tokyo into a desert. With sandy DUNES, you’d almost think Timothée Chalamet or Zendaya would make an appearance. Sadly, neither of them was here but we spotted LV’s Pharrell Williams in the crowd. Back to the fashion, though.
Ski masks paired with sculpted mini dresses and knit tops were a definite standout. Leather pants with XXL pockets and water bottles doubling as accessories gave utilitarian a whole new meaning, while faux fur boots, tweed sets, denim blended with knit, and backpacks with enough storage for a desert hike kept it practical—sort of.
Touches of orange and green (like cactus flowers in the sand) popped against the earthy palette. Parkas were created as a collab with Carhartt—bomber-inspired shapes and trench coats buttoned to the top. Second half of the show belong to oversized knits with tapestry-like motifs, almost as if someone stole grandma’s carpet and made it fashion. Balancing couture-level silhouettes with rugged functionality, the collection proved us that hiking gear and high fashion can coexist 100%.

“With this collection, I want to bare myself before you, without artifice, just our silhouettes in the intimacy of Auguste Perret’s apartment.”
Jacquemus made his awaited comeback to Paris Fashion Week to present his 2025 Couture collection “LA CROISIERE”. He warmly invited us to the intimate setting of Auguste Perret’s Art Deco apartment in Paris.
This season’s collection brought mid-century silhouettes back to life, reimagined as polished constructions with an everyday ease and softened geometrics, dominated by ecru and black with accents of red, orange, green and yellow. Shapely jackets with Ovalo curves, dropped waists and fluted tulle skirts, figure-skimming knits, polka dots, and animal stripes were combined with tulle tennis shoes, pointy woven heels, and boldly accessorized by bags stuffed with leather croc-stamped milk cartons, an umbrella, a box of frites and – naturally – bananas. Because why not? If you’re already wearing a full banana-print outfit, you might as well commit.
