CFDA FASHION AWARDS UNVEILS THIS YEAR'S TOP HONORS IN NEW YORK CITY
If there were a Super Bowl for fashion, it would undoubtedly be the CFDA Fashion Awards. Hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and sponsored by Amazon Fashion, the event celebrated a new generation of visionary designers. The venue - the Museum of Natural History of New York City - played as the perfect scenario for the night, drawing in all the iconic celebrities of the moment. Among the standout winners who are redefining the landscape of modern fashion, Daniel Roseberry’s award for International Designer of the Year felt more like a friend’s accomplishment. During his speech, he remarked: “I was 33, unemployed and sleeping on a tatami mattress in my friend’s apartment, when I was asked to make the proposal for Schiaparelli [...] Recently, it feels like fashion is confused. Desirability for popularity. It’s made the word luxury a mass concept. But, Schiaparelli is the antidote to this idea [...] When young people ask me for advice on their journey, I always say the same thing: seek out a mentor. Someone who can not just train you, but protect you.” As the first American designer to be appointed at a French Couture Maison, Daniel delivered a speech that is sure to inspire generations to come. He reminded us all that while dreams may come at a cost, the sacrifices made for one's passion are invaluable. Rachel Scott embodies this spirit perfectly. When we attended Diotima’s show during New York Fashion Week last September, we were captivated by her fresh perspective, so her win as American Womenswear Designer of the Year came as no surprise. Deeply rooted in her Jamaican heritage, Rachel expressed gratitude to her mother, who passed down the crochet skills that now define her craft. As we celebrate these visionary talents, we can’t wait to see what’s next for this remarkable generation of American designers, whose creativity and passion continue to redefine the future of fashion.
BOTTEGA VENETA LAUNCHES PRE-SPRING 25 COLLECTION
For the Pre-Spring '25 collection, it’s all about ‘the pleasure of putting things together on the silhouettes,’ as Matthieu Blazy shared in a recent interview. BOTTEGA VENETA continues to lead the trend conversation with fresh perspectives, with the visionary Pat McGrath curating each model’s makeup. Every look seems to add a unique ingredient to BOTTEGA VENETA’s exquisite final recipe. A standout piece, the fish-print scarf dress, draws inspiration from Gaetano Pesce, the celebrated Italian architect and artist—and a close friend of Blazy. Picture a guy in a shirt, tie, and long knit polo dress with the Gaetano-fish scarf tossed over his shoulder... with BOTTEGA VENETA, it all makes sense. Take a look at the full collection here.

LAGOS FASHION WEEK PRESENTS TRADITION AND CREATIVITY
In Lagos, fashion is more than fabric and design - it’s a celebration, an energy that flows through the streets with a passion as powerful as any style hub worldwide. Each year, Lagos Fashion Week continues to thrive as a vibrant intersection of Nigerian creativity and avant-garde global fashion. Founded in 2011 by the insightful Omoyemi Akerele, it has evolved into a nurturing ground for emerging fashion talents across the continent, providing essential funding, education, and market access through initiatives such as Fashion Focus Africa. The collections showcased this year went beyond simple aesthetics; they tell rich narratives through fabric and thread, forming a tapestry that resonates far beyond Nigeria’s borders.
TIFFANY & CO. UNVEILS 'WITH LOVE, SINCE 1837' CAMPAIGN STARRING ANYA TAYLOR-JOY
Tiffany & Co. is bringing us into the true spirit of Christmas with their new holiday campaign, With Love, Since 1837. Set against a snow-dusted New York backdrop, the campaign stars House Ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy, who beautifully embodies the essence of the brand’s heritage. Directed by Jonas Lindstroem, the campaign film opens with Taylor-Joy in a sleek black dress, stepping through a vault-like door at The Landmark store on Fifth Avenue. She leads us through iconic NYC scenes, from crossing the Brooklyn Bridge in Tiffany’s HardWear collection to admiring the dazzling displays at The Landmark. Dreamy, vintage music sets the tone as we’re transported into a winter wonderland that celebrates love, elegance, and timeless Tiffany style. Photographer Carlijn Jacobs captures additional vignettes where Taylor-Joy wears pieces from the T by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany collections, symbolizing love and strong connections.
