YOUTHFUL AMBITION WITH THE ONITSUKA TIGER SS25 COLLECTION
This year, Onitsuka Tiger marks its 75 year anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than to show off its latest collection at Milan Fashion Week. Inspired by youth wandering in a journey of exploration moving to the pulse of global urban beats, their Spring/Summer 2025 collection creatively directed by Andrea Pompilio depicts a raw and honest portrayal of growth in which vulnerability and strength, intimacy and self-expression coexist.
The collection’s pace and rhythm are attuned to any metropolis and fueled by the inner fire of youthful ambition and desire. Each piece tells a story of development and emotion that come with embracing new horizons. From sturdy footwear to faux-fur decked clogs, Onitsuka Tiger stands firm on the grounds in changing winds.
The runway starts with sleek black looks that feature lace and pleats and turn around the halfway point to include various pops of colour. Gender-bending and androgynous, the lineup captures the complexity of the passage of adulthood, highlighting the frictions and contradictions that keep the youth fired up. Fashion tropes turn into tokens of evolution and edgy insignia, from vintage lingerie to cargo shorts and textured knits.
Additionally, Onitsuka Tiger partnered up with leading skinwear brand Wolford on a capsule collection including skin to skin dresses, draped tops and stockings in a wide range of nude tones unveiled on the runway.
The after-party took place at the same venue after the show, decorated by an installation of the newest SS25 collection looks, and featuring the internationally renowned DJ, model, and designer Honey Dijon. Global celebrities like brand ambassador MOMO from Twice and pop-star Normani also graced the show.
