SOUNDSTORM 2024 BREAKS GUINNESS WORLD RECORD FOR LARGEST TEMPORARY CONTINIOUS OUTDOOR LED SCREEN
MDLBEAST, the Middle East's trailblazing music entertainment platform, has officially set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Continuous Outdoor LED Screen (Temporary) during its Soundstorm 2024 music festival, which featured performances from Eminem, Muse, and Linkin Park amongst others. The record-breaking screen spans 4808.84 meters squared, surpassing the previous record of 4159.8 square metres held by Adele in Munich earlier this year.
The feat took place on Sunday, 8th December, with a Guinness World Records adjudicator present to verify and award the record. The screen, a central feature of this year’s festival, was a seamless resolution LED marvel designed to elevate the audience experience to new heights. Its colossal size transformed the main stage into the artist’s breathtaking canvas, displaying cutting-edge visuals synchronised with the different performances. MDLBEAST's team worked in collaboration with leading audio-visual technology partners to engineer the installation.Unlike traditional LED setups, the screen blends innovative modular technology with creative design, ensuring it is also reusable for future productions.
“Breaking the Guinness World Record again for the Largest Continuous Outdoor LED Screen is a testament to the vision and relentless innovation that defines MDLBEAST and Soundstorm. This is our fifth Guinness World Record achievement that underpins and embodies our commitment to pushing boundaries and creating transformative experiences for our audiences, not just in Saudi Arabia but on the global stage. We’re incredibly proud of this milestone and look forward to continuing to set new benchmarks for live entertainment," expressed Ramadan Alharatan, MDLBEAST CEO.
