LOUIS VUITTON UNVEILS NEW FINE JEWELLERY COLLECTION

Louis Vuitton introduces ‘Le Damier de Louis Vuitton,’ a new fine jewellery collection based on the iconic Damier pattern created all the way back in 1888. Since then, the motif has been adorned on trunks and luggages and has become a symbol of originality and class. Today, the pattern is welcomed by the Maison’s latest fine jewellery capsule. Available in yellow and white gold, the design features gold squares and diamonds that reinterpret the Damier shape.

“It is a diamond collection that is not just about the stones but the pattern that they create,” says Francesca Amfitheatrof, art director for watches and jewellery. The gold’s polished look expresses a moving sensuality, complemented by pure geometric lines that exalt a striking sharpness and sophistication. Exquisitely crafted for a unique fluidity, the pieces wear as if second skin. Included in the collection are emblematic rings, hoop earrings, luxurious tennis bracelets, and pendants. Each one radiates in a golden glow with the Damier inspired pattern taking centre stage. 

The collection is now available in select stores and online.
