MOCO MUSEUM UNVEILS LATEST ‘DREAMS’ ART INSTALLATION BY ANDRÉS REISINGER
Moco Museum presents a new pink art exhibition, called ‘DREAMS,’ conjured by visionary Argentinian artist Andrés Reisinger. Known for his mixture of digital and physical, Reisinger blurs the line between reality and fiction through the use of bright colours and foamy textures. The exhibition is widely open to guests and invites visitors to wander through the surrealist spaces.
In true Reisinger fashion, the exhibition features four different landscapes that combine physical installations and digital art. As the display unfolds from room to room, the artwork explores authenticity through a surrealist lens. The piece reflects the hidden processes behind the artist’s work, showcasing how Reisinger’s art is shaped from mere idea into final products, allowing the audience to witness the complex creative processes.
As the dream moves to a deeper state in the basement, visitors are faced with monumental pink structures that combine vibrant textiles and morphic shapes. Visitors are free to move through the space to influence their surroundings, further highlighting the flexible nature of the structures. The exhibition closes with a hypnotising video installation that explores the deep lumber state in which visitors are dreaming. Overall, all four works explore space and thought, and reflect on the unpredicatable nature of dreams.
Reisinger’s installation turns the museum into a transformative experience, encouraging viewers to interact with and influence their surroundings. This contemporary approach offers a new framework through which digital art can be perceived, and positions perfectly with the Moco Museum.
