ALAÏA PRESENTS WS25 ARCHETYPES CAMPAIGN
Some relationships are eternal, and the one between ALAÏA and New York is certainly one of them. After 85 years of fashion history, Pieter Mulier brought the legendary brand back to its roots during New York Fashion Week last September. Today, that enduring connection is celebrated once again with the new Winter/Spring 2025 collection, ARCHETYPES, captured by David Sims. Built upon the narrative of the SS25 show, the new collection channels the spirit of American sportswear—effortless, practical, and liberating. For Mulier, the collection was driven by two main forces: opportunity and obsession. The chance to stage a show in the iconic Guggenheim was a rare privilege, but it was his fascination with American beauty that truly shaped the designs—an aesthetic defined by simplicity, modernity, and purity.
The collection explores freedom of movement and expression through sculptural shapes in double-face cashmere, fine knit, silk taffeta, and poplin. Zippers and buttons are forgotten as pieces appear suspended in time, as if part of an enchanting illusion. "This collection honors tradition alongside modernity," Mulier explains. "It’s a celebration of American dressing ideals, and through that, a spirit that bridges New York and Paris—the liberated body in motion, as ALAÏA has always been."
WILLOW SMITH DEBUTS FUTURISTIC MONCLER COLLABORATION
Last October, we got an exclusive preview of the Moncler x Willow Smith collaboration at The City of Genius in Shanghai, and it left us with a strong impression of what was to come. Willow Smith is more than just a singer—she’s a multifaceted artist constantly redefining herself through her creative expression. This time, she’s teamed up with Moncler, the Italian brand renowned for its signature 'duvet' puffer jackets, to create a collection that merges futurism, fantasy, and androgyny. The designs in this collaboration feel more like sculptures than garments, with fluid lines and movement that embody a sense of freedom.
Smith has seamlessly infused her own unique style into Moncler’s aesthetic, celebrating duality and the limitless potential of self-expression. "I’m incredibly passionate about the outdoors and exploring this magnificent earth," Smith shared. "I imagine these clothes effortlessly transitioning from nighttime camping to high-fashion evening wear."
What stands out most in this collection is the reminder that the freedom within our bodies—our ability to move, explore, and transform—should always be celebrated.
INSIDE THE GOVERNORS AWARDS CEREMONY
Just a few weeks before the Emmy Awards, Hollywood's biggest stars gathered at the Governors Awards 2024, the annual event that honors outstanding achievements in cinematography and the film industry. This year's ceremony felt particularly poignant, marked by unforgettable moments that will stay with us. One of the most touching highlights goes to the posthumous Oscar awarded to music legend Quincy Jones, with a moving tribute delivered by his daughter, Rashida Jones, whose speech left the room both speechless and emotional. The red carpet was full of show-stopping moments, with Jennifer Lawrence stealing the spotlight in a brown sleeveless Bottega Veneta gown that subtly revealed her baby bump, turning every photographer's camera toward her. Other iconic moments included Angelina Jolie's appearance alongside her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, and stunning looks from Paul Mescal, Tilda Swinton, Jennifer Lopez, Jude Law, Julianne Moore, and many more. In an Instagram post, Demi Moore shared a photo with actress Sarah Margaret Qualley, captioning it "A girls' night out," adding an extra dose of substance to the event.

The Italian fashion house will host a two-day event in Naples on June 16 and 17, featuring a runway show to unveil its latest Resort collection. This marks a return to the southern Italian region after the brand’s Resort 2022 presentation on the island of Ischia, held at the breathtaking Mezzatorre Hotel, perched above the Gulf of Naples in a former 16th-century watchtower. Last year's Resort 2025 show took place in Venice, at the historic Palazzo Ducale, a stunning example of Gothic architecture situated in Piazza San Marco. With each new location, Max Mara continues to blend high fashion with iconic cultural landmarks, offering an immersive experience that seamlessly fuses style, history, and architectural grandeur.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, made the decision after a career defined by unmatched resilience, determination, and success. Nadal, 38, delivered the news after his emotional exit from the Davis Cup in Malaga, where Spain was eliminated by the Netherlands in the quarterfinals. In a heartfelt ceremony following his loss, Nadal reflected on his incredible journey, thanking fans, fellow athletes, and his team for their support. He commented: “My body has arrived at a place where it cannot play anymore. I feel privileged to have extended my career longer than I expected. Thanks to life and to my team.” His retirement brings an end to a remarkable career, but his influence on the sport will undoubtedly remain for years to come.
