SCHIAPARELLI REIMAGINES TIMELESS DESIGNS IN SS25 COLLECTION
Schiaparelli's Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection demonstrates the house’s continuation of pushing the boundaries of fashion. Moving away from the traditional opulence of couture, Daniel Roseberry reimagines casual elegance with eccentric, playful, and timeless elements that reminisces back to Elsa Schiaparelli's original vision. Signature hourglass silhouettes, corseted tennis polos, and denim creations bring a modern twist to classic designs, while textures and surfaces like suede strips and braided knots add a dynamic and bold quality to the collection. The use of vivid colors reminiscent of Mondrian paintings and ‘80s power dressing brings an air of playful drama, making it a collection for those unafraid of sartorial statements.
This season, Schiaparelli also focused on creating pieces that appeal across generations, aptly named "Future Vintage,” with a commitment to creating an “essential and timeless wardrobe.” “At the beginning of this collection, we decided we were going to make clothes not just for our clients, but for their daughters and granddaughters. Future Vintage, I’m calling it,” says Daniel Rosebury.
